You may have heard of a gun magazine called American Handgunner. It’s edited by some new whippersnapper ‘riter named Roy Huntington. It turns out that Editor Roy is not only a wordsmith, but a mad scientist inventor as well. That Frankenstein guy’s got nothin.

Anyway, Roy’s been paying attention to the industry, and couldn’t help but notice that folks are still buying J-Frame (snub nose) revolvers by the truckload. He also made the assumption that more than a few of these folks were buying those guns for self-defense or maybe home defense. Roy figured that they ought to have a weapon light option, as most self-defense incidents happen in low-light conditions.

Not only do you get light, the grip provides room for all of your fingers!

Manufactured and distributed by Hyskore, the Griplight offers 100 lumens of LED light. It’s designed to replace the standard grips on round-butt revolvers. The light is activated by push button on the forward-facing grip surface. When the pistol is gripped, the light goes on – operation couldn’t be simpler. There is a positive on-off switch on the bottom of the grip that allows daytime use and practice without draining the battery. The Griplight runs on standard CR2 Lithium batteries, and one is even included in the box. Made from aluminum with tactile grip inserts, it’s tough enough for .357 Magnum use. MSRP is $129.95.
