And now for something completely different. While at the Charlotte Bass Pro with the folks from Crimson Trace, we stumbled onto an engineering competition. The University of North Carolina shown here designed machines to help those with various disabilities enjoy some good old-fashioned fishing. You can see some different approaches to the casting challenge. The competition had events for distance and accuracy. Thought you might enjoy the photos of some smart students doing some cool stuff.
