Happy SHOT Show Attendees
Tens of thousands of raving, gun-loving lunatics descended on Las Vegas for the 2011 SHOT (Smokin’ Hot Orgy of Tactical toys) today. Asked about the nature of the SHOT Show crowd, an undisclosed convention official appeared to be surprised about the show. “50,000 raving lunatics are here for a gun show? We thought it was a just a normal Tuesday in Vegas.”
Running today through Friday, this year marks the 50th anniversary of NSSF’s big shebang. With attendance expected to top 50,000, this year highlights the dramatic growth of the online press, or blog community. “We’re expecting about 214,932 members of the media this year” observed Don Draper, NSSF Vice President of Marketing.
