Firearm design attracts interesting engineering solutions. To offer a “pocket carry” safe autoloading pistol, one Witold Chylewski created a .25 ACP handgun that could be carried uncocked, with chamber empty, but still ready for instant, one-handed deplyment. A unique “trigger guard” was also a cocking trigger. Pull it with the trigger finger and the slide retracted, loading the first round, and the pistol cocked. You might think of it as a sort of double-action trigger pull for an autopistol that also racked the slide.
