The guy behind the curtains is me, Tom McHale. I'm the Editor of American Handgunner Magazine and the author of the Practical Guides series of how-to shooting books. I've been an avid shooter, reloading, and student of things self-defense, concealed carry, reloading, and long-range shooting for the past two decades, give or take.

Over the past 20 years or so, I've written seven books and a couple thousand articles for various shooting related magazines and websites.
